The Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE, Covina, Calif., USA) and the American Composites Manufacturers Association (Arlington, Va., USA) indicated on March 7 that the two organizations’ joint conference and exhibition will be held Oct. 14-16, 2014 in Orlando, Fla., USA.
SAMPE and ACMA have long each held their own composites conference and exhibitions, but agreed last year in principle to a joint show, designed to provide a venue to serve the entire advanced materials and composites industry in North America and throughout the world.
The joint show has not been formally named, and dates and locations for beyond 2014 have not yet been finalized. About ACMA The American Composites Manufacturing Association (ACMA) is the world’s largest composites industry trade group. We are manufacturers, material and equipment suppliers, distributors, academia and end users, dedicated to growing the composites market.
ACMA offers composites industry educational resources through our CAMX show, conferences and Certified Composites Technician (CCT®) program. We develop standards and specifications that drive preference for the use of composites in place of traditional materials.
We serve our members and the industry by promoting the competitive advantage and versatility of composite materials.
We lead advocacy efforts via legislative and regulatory channels to achieve a more viable composites industry. Together, we are shaping the future of composites.
